By plane and rental car (coming from the south)

The best destination airport is Alicante, in order to get as fast as possible to Villajoyosa. With a rental car, it is then about 45 km or about 40 minutes drive to the Vila Feliz. We recommend the route via the A-70 (urban motorway Alicante - toll-free) and then via the N-332 (highway). 

Once in Villajoyosa, after the bridge, take the road on the right down to the beach. You drive straight towards the sea. Arrived at the promenade, turn right. Now you can drive to the parking lot or directly to the apartment. That would be the street right in front of the Madrid restaurant, turn right and follow the alley. It is a narrow path and it goes up quite steeply for a short time.

IMPORTANT: for a few years it has been forbidden to drive in certain areas of the old town by car, Vila Feliz is in such an area. So please let me know your car number plate so I can write a collection letter of our guests' vehicles to the city government at the end of the month so you don't get fined.

A gravel car park offers free parking down by the sea and after the beach all year round, in front of it there are paved parking lots (marked orange). These are currently from 14.09. until 14.06. also for free. In the summer season from 15.06. until 13.09. there are machines for payment and there is an app to download (elParking).

By plane and public transport

From the destination airport of Alicante you can take the airport bus directly to the center of Alicante. Transport between the airport and the city is well organized by SuBus. SuBus (line C-6) departs every 20 minutes from and to the airport throughout the year. A one-way ticket costs 3.85 euros per person and is available from the bus driver. The journey time from Alicante airport to Vázquez de Mella station, Plaza de los Luceros takes about 25 minutes; from here you can change to the tram. Line 1 of the TRAM Metropolitano de Alicante will take you in 50 minutes from the tram stop Plaza de los Luceros (Alicante) to the station La Vila Joiosa (Villjoyosa). You need a 2 zone ticket for 2.50 euros. The walk from here to Vila Feliz is about 10 minutes.
